CAPACITY
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
Capacity collects what it needs to build and adjust your training. It never sells your data and shows no ads.
Who we are
Capacity is a training app run by Nolvera Ventures (“we”). Mike is Capacity’s coach. For any privacy question, email support@capacitytraining.app.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and password. Passwords are stored in a scrambled form that no one can read.
- About you: what you enter in setup and Settings, such as your name, birth date, gender, height, bodyweight, training experience, lift numbers, race goals and weekly schedule.
- Your training: your program and the workouts you log, including weights, reps, times, distances, effort ratings and notes. This includes check-in answers, such as sleep, stress and soreness, and any pain or illness you report.
- Apple Health or Health Connect, only if you turn it on: your workouts, heart rate, and walking, running and cycling distances, used to fill in your training log. Capacity only reads this data and never writes to Apple Health.
- Messages with Mike: the messages and photos you exchange.
- Community, only if you join: your first and last name, your posts, comments and likes, and any reports or blocks you make.
- Subscription: your plan, whether you’re in a free trial, when it renews or ends, and your purchase history. Apple handles payment, so we never see your card details.
- Technical data: your app and phone system versions, your phone’s notification token if you allow notifications, when the app last synced, crash reports (which can include related training details), which Apple Search Ads ad, if any, led you to download Capacity, and server logs such as IP address and request times.
We don’t collect your location or contacts. The app shows no ads, and we don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
How we use it
- To build your program and adjust it as you train.
- To run Messages with Mike and Community.
- To email Mike your setup answers when you finish setup, so he can follow your training.
- To send account emails, such as password reset codes.
- To run your subscription or free trial.
- To see which of our Apple Search Ads ads bring in new members.
- To improve Capacity’s programs, fix problems, prevent abuse and keep accounts secure.
We never sell your data, use it to target ads, or give it to data brokers.
Who can see it
- Mike, as your coach, can see your account details, subscription, training, check-ins and messages with him, but not your workout notes or password.
- Other members see only what you post in Community: your name, posts, comments and likes. They never see your training unless you share a workout in a post.
- Service providers that run Capacity for us. Replit hosts the server, database and file storage (with Neon and Google Cloud), Backblaze stores encrypted backup copies, Resend delivers emails, Google Workspace handles our support email, Expo delivers app updates, RevenueCat manages subscriptions with Apple, and Apple’s push service delivers message notifications, which show the sender’s name and up to 300 characters of the message. They may use your data only to provide their service to us, and must protect it at least as well as this policy does.
- AI services: Mike uses Anthropic’s Claude and OpenAI’s ChatGPT to help him keep up with messages and Community. They read nothing of yours unless you tap Allow when Capacity asks. An earlier permission naming only Claude does not let ChatGPT read your content; Capacity asks again with both providers named. If you allow them, they can read your recent messages with Mike when you’re waiting on his reply, including any workout you attached and its heart rate, and your Community posts and replies from the past week. They can also see the replies Mike sent you that started as one of their drafts, next to that draft, for up to 90 days, so later drafts sound more like him. They see your display name, never your email address or photos. Mike sends every reply himself, and the assistants can’t send, post, or change anything. Anthropic and OpenAI may use this content only to run the assistants for us. One test tool, open only to Capacity’s own test accounts, also sends what you give it to Anthropic’s Claude to build workouts.
- Authorities, only when the law requires it or to protect someone’s safety.
If Capacity is ever sold or transferred, your data would move with it under this policy, and we would tell you first.
Apple Health data
Capacity reads Apple Health only after you tap Connect, in Settings → Health Data or on a workout log screen. It reads your workouts, heart rate, and walking, running and cycling distances, and uses them only for your training log. Only Mike and the providers that store data for us can see it, unless you choose to share it: a workout you share in Community shows its heart rate, and if you allow Mike’s AI assistant, it can read workouts you attach to messages. Health data is never used for advertising or marketing and never sold. You can stop access any time in your iPhone’s Health settings.
How long we keep it
- We keep your data while you have an account.
- Delete your account any time in Settings → Account → Delete Account. This erases your programs, workout history, Community profile, posts, comments, likes, messages and photos, plus other members’ comments on your posts. Backup copies are erased within 30 days. The setup summary emailed to Mike stays in his email unless you ask us to delete it.
- Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription; cancel it in your Apple account settings. The purchase records Apple and RevenueCat keep aren’t erased.
- Messages stay until you delete your account.
- A post or comment you delete disappears for everyone right away. A hidden copy stays until you delete your account.
- Crash reports and server logs are kept only as long as needed to fix problems and protect the service.
- Your phone’s notification token is removed when you log out.
Your choices and rights
- Update most of your information in Settings.
- Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion by emailing support@capacitytraining.app. We’ll answer within 30 days.
- Turn Apple Health access off at any time.
- Turn message notifications off at any time in Settings → Notifications.
- Allow or stop Mike’s AI assistant reading your messages and posts at any time in Settings.
- Choose what you post in Community, delete your posts, and block members.
If the law where you live gives you more rights, for example in the EU, UK or California, email us and we’ll honor them.
Washington residents: our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains your rights over your health data under Washington law.
Security
Data travels encrypted between the app and our server, and passwords are stored scrambled. Only Mike can use the coach tools. No system is perfectly secure, so if a breach affects your data, we’ll tell you as the law requires.
Children
Capacity is not for anyone under 16. If we learn that someone under 16 has an account, we’ll delete it. Parents can reach us at support@capacitytraining.app.
Where your data is stored
Your data may be stored and processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate.
Changes
If we make important changes to this policy, we’ll tell you in the app before they take effect.
